If you want castile soap order it from drugstore.com it is cheaper and is an affiliate on here.

I wish I could use the baking soda/vinegar method. My hair is too fine, on the thinner side and still oily even at my age. It would be so much nicer to have a simple option.

On a side note, do any of you get pimple like sores from the baking soda? I use it in a mix of baking soda/cornstarch with my anti-perspirant (I only use natural stuff and it is not really effective for odor) to eliminate any odor, it also seems to neutralize any scent change with the scent in the anti-perspirant and my body chemistry. Can not use it alone or I break out. I still do on occasion, but it is worth the end result.

Pam, I'm wondering if you are using aluminum free baking soda.
I have a client who did the no-poo hair care routine, and had a similar reaction when she used Arm and Hammer Baking Soda, but when she switched to a brand that does not contain Aluminum, she was fine.
