I mistakingly posted these two projects on the homemaking board. The first one is for a woman's skirt made from a t-shirt and the second one is for a little girl's dress.
viewtopic.php?f=18&t=610I am currently making these dirndl skirts, found out they are really simple and I need more of them. What I like is that I can custom make them to fit ME! A plus is that I bought a handful of 7" zippers at a garage sale and now get to use them. You cut a rectangle 30" long (for me) x your waist size plus 12" in width, the waist band is 4" x your waist size plus 3" in width. Viola. The ones I am making are not so full, I also have the pleated pattern, may tackle that for the winter in a light wool.
