A friend gave me a gift certificate for a massage after ds passed. I just got to use it yesterday. OH MY! I don't know if there's a difference between a "physical therapy" massage and a spa massage? I had a "physical therapy" massage. I asked her to "start" with my feet and then neck and shoulders as those are the places I tend to ache the most. She was SO gentle and silky smooth. She moved slower than I can even imagine having the patience to do! To rub the knots out of my upper back she slid her hands under my back while I was laying on my back - interesting.
I'd like to hear others experiences of massage.
I have decided that this will be one of my rewards for losing weight. : )

I have a friend who does massage and I'm telling you, it's amazing! I LOVE it. The one thing I notice is how bad I feel a couple of days afterwards. She says it's because it loosens toxin build up in your muscles and releases them into your system. I'm always unsteady on my feet when we are done with one hour sessions. I have to sit and wait it out. She also says that I should GO MORE OFTEN, to lesson my symptoms! lol

My friend that gave me the gift had her massage at the same time and she staggered a bit. hehehe I think that's so bizarre. I felt fine. : ) I guess I picked the right time to do it since I'm on this 11 day detox!
