I was rather interested in seeing what the dietician would recommend for dh now. We met today and it's your basic 1/2 plate of non-starchy veggies, 1/4 plate of carbs and a 1/4 plate of protein BUT.... the meat recommendation is about 4-6 oz per DAY, not per MEAL. hehehe
She says the main thing is to keep the macros level. If you're not going to eat 40 carbs most meals then do 30, or 20, but do basically the same amount for every meal, including snack. We've had mucho problemas staying on any particular way of eating! Hopefully we'll do better.
