Somewhere i saw a note about that "offspring of the favored one" being from The Message. Now, i can't find where i saw that. Wikipedia has "virgin's womb" listed as late as 1961, at least.
I spose it's not technically wrong as Mary WAS called highly favored.

I have NO problem with referring to the Virgin Mary as "Highly Favored!"
. . . .but I just don't want folks to avoid that whole virgin birth thing - especially in this age when so many are questioning it.
I liked that note from John Wesley near the bottom - asking subsequent generations not to mess with his brother's work. Guess nobody read that
