900 acres of timber at present. Our church was asked if it could be used as a shelter. :)

Because of the Houston situation we had already discussed what our church would do and immediate approval was granted. Hopefully it won't be needed!

I've been seeing posts about the fires in OR/WA on my cousin's FB page. One of the areas has stranded hikers that can't get out. My cousin and her friends had been planning a hike there. I saw that my beloved Columbia River Gorge is in flames! My Uncle posted pictures of their cars covered in ash. It's sad. What is with the fires and hurricanes this year?!
