A door-less shower would be LESS to clean.
Not in my experience. There isn't a door, but a narrow entry, and that means another full wall catching water and soap and dirt. They are usually made with tile. Tiles catch gunk in each little space between them. All that grout! Ugh... And the tiles themselves. Also, they tend to have built in recesses for holding soap and shampoo bottles. Those also catch scum which must be cleaned "often" or else the build-up is a bear to clean.
Also, just as a caution if you do get one, thry tend to be bery slippery when wet so you'll need either texture floor built in, or add a bathmat.
Both add to the cleaning chore after a while.
