Public school messed up my DD. we took her out at the end of grade one. Took me months to get her to ask me a question about an assignment.
Her teacher kept saying she didnot know how to read and that was a lie and I proved it to her.
By grade 6 she was reading at senior level and by 9th grade college level. When she took her TSI test at the community college, she got a high grade on reading, and writing.
She has found out that the students she has classes with now , do not know how to study or do homework or read at a higher level.
