Where do you all get the cap and gowns you use for your high school student's graduation? I want to get photos taken soon, however, I have NO idea where to order the cap and gowns from.
Also.. how did you decide on the color??

I know you can order them through HSLDA. I ordered one for my oldest son, but I can't remember where. It wasn't HSLDA, though. If I think of it, I'll let you know.

We never had cap and gown pictures. We did order tassels with the year on it because the kids thought that'd be cool. Each of my older kids had different colors for their tassels. We hired a photographer to take senior pictures for oldest dd. I did the boys' pictures. I will take the girls' as well when the time comes. My oldest dd did walk graduation with the local high school as she went there her senior year. None of the rest of my kids want to participate in a graduation ceremony.

Around here, none of the seniors wear regalia for their senior pictures.

(I don't know where to get caps & gowns - the only thing I can think of is a costume shop! ;)

We do have some friends here who recently graduated their HS sons. They had a really nice ceremony in the banquet room of a local pizza place. They had a retrospective film/slide show of the boy's life, and invited friends from throughout their school career - had many of them give talks. It was really well done & uplifting for all : )

I am not sure what we'll do as far as any ceremony, etc. but we will do the cap and gown photos along with several misc. photos.

Thanks, Shelly. I like that they print diplomas! I don't like that they only offer blue or white gowns.
I'm glad I have a little bit of time (not much though!) to look and decide. :)

Tory, this is where we got our stuff. The cap & gown I used was mine from college. For my son I had to have sitting pictures only as he's quite a bit taller than I am.
