My family and I are a homeschooling family and run a permaculture farm in eastern TN. We have been having monthly volunteers (the farming world calls these people WWOOFers -- which stands for World Wide Opportunities in Organic Farms.) The last two we have had came word of mouth and are homeschool students interested in trying out farming for a month. We provide room and board in a separate apartment and they provide volunteer help on our farm.

Is this an appropriate place to advertise? Where could I spread the word about this opportunity?

Hello.... I live in southeast TN. As far as advertising, word of mouth, social media outlets like this, FB, Instagram, Twitter, plus your local homeschool groups via newsletters and emails. Are you wanting to post a website?
