Just purchased the Latin 1 kit from BJ Press. My wife was hoping there were daily lesson plans like there are for the DVD curriculum they offer. The teacher's manual suggests 1 week for some chapters, then 2 weeks for other chapters. Was just wondering if anyone has ever developed daily lesson plans for the course. I've looked online, but can't find any. Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi there! I can't help you on this program, but wanted to welcome you to the site!!! How many children are you homeschooling?

I can offer that Latin has a way of building up on you. You need to do drill at least 4 days per week. The reason Bob Jones probably doesn't have a day-by-day schedule is because it will vary as to how much you are putting into it. I haven't seen that book, but I would say do drill (declension endings, etc.) every day and then do one section of exercises per day and see how long it takes to get through it.

Hope that helps!
