| Post subject: | Kids' fiction ideas? |
So, the other day, DD said, "EVERY KID in every video & see & every book I read goes to far away school! Every one!" Does anyone know of well-written books or videos (early elementary interest level) that feature homeschooled kids? Ones that you can really recommend (I want them to have *something* to recommend the text in addition to the fact that the characters are homeschooled - you know, like an interesting plot ; ) |

Many years ago I remember a series about a homeschool family that got to travel with their dad sometimes. They always discovered mysteries. They weren't written "great" but they were ok. As good as most books I see these days. I have no idea what they were, tho'. Someone just needs to WRITE some! Tell your dd to write what she would like to read!

The Bluedorns have written some nice picture books about homeschooled books. Take a look on the review page. There are some other ones there, too! |
