My daughter will be a senior this year. She's been through CC's Challenge program for I, II and III. This coming year we will not have a director for final level IV. I've mentioned traveling to Orlando or St. Petersburg to attend the IV program in that area and she always shot it down. She has been very firm on not wanting to dual-enroll. She was content to do her last 4 credits on Florida Virtual School. My preference is to do CH IV, but I didn't want to push it. On Monday I meet with the IV director from Orlando and really had my heart set on it again, but I said nothing to dd. On Friday she dropped everything and said, "Mom, we have to talk about my future. What am I doing for school next year. I do not want to dual-enroll." I shared my thoughts and in 20 minutes she told me to sign her up for the Orlando program. I'm thrilled!!! She'll get one last final year of a great program. It will mean an hour + drive for us for 30 weeks, but I'm sure it will be worth it in the long run.

That's great, Neesa! She'll meet some new people, too. :0)

I thought she decided to go to high school? I remember an interview and her CC involvement was what got her in?
Or am I mistaking you with someone else?
(if so, I'm sorry!)

That was an interview to join the umbrella school for her senior year. Do you have those in GA? Still homeschooling, they just keep up with our records and creating a transcript.

They probably do, I just misunderstood. I was thinking she was actually going to school, lol!
(My dd and I are praying about her attending high school this coming year for her senior year.)
