Post subject:  New to HS- Reading Curriculum HELP!

Hello everyone! This fall will be our first year homeschooling our third grader. I have been doing a lot of research trying to find the right curriculum for us and have really been struggling with a reading curriculum. My daughter is an advanced reader but she also gets bored easily. I have never been a fan of "readers" with short stories. I wanted to use classic literature and fiction/non-fiction books as our basis. I found "Bringing Classics to Life" books, but that doesn't seem like exactly what I'm looking for, either. Can anyone point me in the direction of a literature based curriculum? I don't need it to include spelling or grammar work. I plan on doing that separately. Thank you so much!

Welcome! I have added some links where you can find different book lists. If you go through and decide which books you think would be a good fit for your daughter, you can usually find them either at your library or in the public domain sites. You don't have to have a set curriculum, just decide with your dd what she wants to read, and what you feel is a good fit for her.
