My high school ds has struggled with math all along. He did Algebra 1&2, but probably didn't apply himself as he should have. Then he did Khan Academy on-line. Still, the basic algebra concepts have not "stuck." He agrees that he needs lots more reinforcement. Does anyone have a suggestion as to a website or computer disk that would have LOADS of problems on it with immediate feedback if he gets the problem incorrect? Thanks!

Can't attest to the quality of (I am no mathematician, and have not checked it out) but Softschools does at least have Algebra on it.

One possibility is, he just is a late bloomer in this area of math. My brain truly was not yet wired for it until I turned 30. Up until that time, I tried and tried, sought help and finally let it go, thinking I was a hopeless case. Then around 30, it started making sense. Now, I'd have to go back and redo, to remember it all, but nothing I did before my brain was ready enabled me to truly learn it. I just memorised and prayed my way through tests.

What has he tried so far? I hear Teaching Textbooks came out with a new addition, and really changed how they are doing things.

This one looks pretty nice - more serious, but has the immediate feedback you wanted.
