Post subject:  Hi Everyone!

Waving with both arms a BIG hello to each of you!

We just closed on my parent's house this last Friday, and finished moving the rest of their stuff out of the house, and we're still finishing some other court matters.

I "see" what you post, just haven't posted much while all this is going on.
Hope all this settles down quickly.
Have a healthy day.

I still have one biggy to finish up with my folks, and am waiting on all the attornies to get back from vacation. I will be turning the finances over to a court approved fiduciary because I can't qualify for the $100K + bond they want me to qualify for.

Shavawn, I would LOVE to help you!!!! I'd love to see Kentucky again...It's SOooooooooooo beautifully green. Now we just need to get me there. " )

Well, don't come now then, because the drought we are in has everything brown! I feel like I'm in New Mexico already! LOL The creeks are drying up and the pond across the street is dropping considerably. Leaves are falling off the trees and farmers who planted are watching everything shrivel and die. We need rain quickly!!

Ugh...sorry to hear the drought is affecting KY in such a way.
We're in the middle of a drought, and haven't had any precipitation, except for a
light "spitting" of rain on 4th of July in over 70 days, and our winter didn't bring much snow at all. We had some snow, but not enough to replenish our water tables.

Where are you going in NM? If you're close enough, I just may have to *SEE* you, if I can come up with some gas money. 8-)

Cindy, where are you in Arizona?
We will be staying in Edgewood which is just outside of Albuquerque.

I was thinking you weren't far from the Grand Canyon, but I could be wrong. We have been saying for YEARS that we should go see it, it's less than 9 hrs from where we lived (I think).
Maybe next summer we will be able to give it a shot.

We are approximately 1 1/2 hours from the Grand Canyon and 30 minutes off I-40 on Highway 89. If you guys decide to come see the Canyon, let me know. The Leggewie and Robinson families camped at our house when they visited the area and we enjoyed having them! Your family would be welcome as well. " )

I haven't driven to Albequerque in a long time and don't recall how long it takes to get there from here.

Gee Cindy, I might get close to your home in the next couple years. We are trying to decide when we can go to the Grand Canyon. How much fun would it be to be able to give you a hug in person?!
