I will have taco salad
DH and DD will have ham and hash browns and salad

Tomorrow I need to make some more chili, will be eating that for a few days.
I do not like cold weather.

I'm using leftover turkey to make soup. I'll probably make chili Monday.

Yesterday I made soup with pureed rutabaga, half a cauliflower and a bit of leftover butternut squash i had. Added sauteed onions and garlic. Also added a cup of frozen corn kernals.

Shopping is such a chore - seems like an all day thing when you have church before and after! It was a good day tho'. Mom and i went out and had dessert first, then we just ordered a side - a rather decadent side - tater tots on garlic mashed potatoes with sour cream, bacon and onions!

Ok. All ready for my elimination diet now! Today -
I will have a fruit smoothie for breakfast and boil some eggs to eat when i get hungry. For lunch i'll have ground turkey with zoodles. I bo't a julienne peeler to make zoodles and it was on sale for $3.50 yesterday! (Go to Bed Bath and Beyond quick!) LOL For dinner i'll have pinto beans in tom sauce and green olives (sounds lame but it's a favorite of mine). :) I don't get the rice that generally goes with that. I'll have a cutie and banana for snacks if i need them.

Uh oh. I just realized i never saw the salmon i bo't when i put groceries away!!!

Ewww. Did you use black-eyed peas? I'd skip those!

Love them. You have to drain the water they cook in. Sauteed onion, peppers, garlic then added a diced fresh tomato and finally the rice and red pepper flakes. It was creamy and tasty. Vegan cajun.
