I find this curious: Dil and I both started periods while detoxing. Is that normal? Is there a reason for it? They weren't "scheduled" periods. |

Yes, oftentimes, the organs that toxins are eliminated from, respiratory tract (lungs and sinuses, colon, uterus, and urinary tract are often more active during a cleanse. I've seen many women who begin their periods almost immediately (within a day or two) while we focusing on a deep cleanse. If the lungs/sinuses have a lot of junk in them, more mucous is expelled or the sinuses will become drippier than usual. If the urinary tract has a lot of toxins in it, you will urinate more frequently. Make sense? |
