It looks like the calorie points would be over a hundred for either garbonzos or kale chips! This things will be good alternatives later but not right now. I'm really trying to get things moving in the next 10 days or so. I'd really like to drop at LEAST 4 lb by then. :)

Remember, Sis, weight changes (up or down!) are a Marathon, not a sprint. All sprinting does is make you collapse on the ground ;)

Haven't you watch Hildago? You start with a jump and run hard til you're out of sight. Then, you slow down and conserve energy for the long haul. :ugeek: :D I'm just trying to get control and stop eating mindlessly.

Yesterday i had the two vegan shakes and then for dinner we had brown rice, mushrooms, cabbage and caesar salad. I only drank water. My macros were low, of course, 637 calories, 39 carbs, 13 fat, 48 protein and 18 fiber but i wasn't hungry and didn't need the 3rd shake.

Today i went shopping and didn't eat before i left. When i got home i made cauliflower soup and didn't dunk any bread in it! Wow! That's a big deal for me! 8-) I think we'll have baked potatoes with vegetarian chili tonight for dinner, maybe with a salad. If i get hungry later i could have a vegan shake or leftovers from last night.

Now TOMORROW i plan to eat more regularly - working on hitting those macros targets - the ones i set for myself. :)

Of course I haven't seen "Hildago" never even heard of it. :ugeek:

Wikipedia tells me it's a movie about a horse, Sis. :?

I *could* be mistaken, but I don't *think* you're a horse.

Anna is right, a hot beverage, herbal teas! Curb appetite.

I do not know if anyone remembers but in the late 70's I worked with a woman who was using this appetite suppressant in the form of a candy that was to be taken with a hot beverage. She realized it was the beverage that helped her. The candy looked like a caramel, but was supposed to have vitamins and minerals.

I remember those! I could eat a bunch at a sitting as a child ; )

They weren't much of an appetite suppressant unless you ate at least 1/4 pound ; )
