Do you know anything about diatomaceous earth? I came across it while up symptoms and it suggested using it in smoothies???? :?

Tomorrow morning I'll have "my" coffee, then eggs Benedict for lunch and, possibly - if mom has her way - pie and ice cream for dinner!

Mom is making quiche for breakfast but I will probably have oatmeal to get started out well. Beans and rice here I come!

I heard about it when I was looking up stuff to keep scorpions out of our house. It's dirt you spread around the outside of your house, and it's supposed to kill them. So I definitely wouldn't eat it, lol.The foods you listed sound much better!

It seems to be the same idea - keeping bugs out of US. ;) I ran across it when i was checking out symptoms of parasites.

Hmm... I've read a lot about it before when looking for flea control. I don't recall reading about being safe for consumption but I wasn't looking for that.
Try a Google search.
The tractor supply here sells it for $20 for a large bag... Very large! So it's economical.

You can buy food grade quality for human consumption. It costs more than the non food grade. The regular is good for fleas, ticks, bugs, so I hear. I never got around to putting it on the dog to find out but my friend uses it on her farm animals. I bought food grade so I could use it for bugs or humans :) Seems like I ordered it from Amazon. I also have heard it is good for getting rid of parasites in humans and pets when ingested.

We use it for flea, worm control for the cats. My mom grew up on a farm in Cuba and said her mom ritually gave them a tablespoon of castor oil once a month. Grandma raised 12 children to adulthood. It was to prevent or treat parasites and worms.
