As I was leafing thru Barnard's book I happened across the story of Anthony Yen. He became part of Dr Esselstyn's program for heart patients.  That was fun because it was the first thing my eyes fell on and it's on page 162. Well, the very first thing was a yellow split pea hummus that sounds interesting.

I think I remember Anthony Yen (from the movie) - is he famous for something else, too ? Did you already know his name? You'll have to let me know how the split pea hummus goes : ) |

No, I didn't know Anthony Yen's name but I knew Esselstyn!

Have you seen "Forks over Knives" ? It's fun to see the faces of all the people from the books : ) |
