They were a sickly gray-brown-green color and nobody would touch them. So, I finally made banana bread but left the maple syrup out by accident. Dh liked them fine without the extra sweetness so I'm making note of that in the book!

I think that's caused from storage at wrong temps (perhaps being allowed to freeze in transit?)

We've also found that if a banana is overripe, sometimes no one misses sugar : )
