Also includes Dr. McDougall's opinion on why he vaccinates (other than for flu) and the dangers of additives in vaccines. Multidose vials have Mercury preservative, single dose does not. I didn't know that.

I don't know who to believe. It doesn't much matter to me because I don't get shots either way. It would be good to know the REAL truth, tho'.

I did know that only multidose vials have mercury, but it's not a harmful amount. I don't know anything about the aluminum, though. I've heard that a lot of the girls who receive the HPV vaccine, develop symptoms of aluminum toxicity and it completely ruins their lives. The evidence of the harmfulness of that vaccine, is enough that I will definitely skip that vaccine for my kids.

When I was pregnant with Adrian, I was told I should get the TDAP vaccine during pregnancy. As I've said on hear before, I've been very concerned about Pertussis, so I was tempted to get the vaccine so the baby would be protected. I even gave that vaccine to pregnant women when I was an IBT and told them it was safe, because that's what I was told. But I researched a little and found a Dr. on You Tube, who was generally pro-vaccine, but said he was horrified that they were injecting all this aluminum into pregnant women. He said the amount of aluminum is not harmful to an adult brain, but is way too much for a baby's brain. That made sense to me. He said to get the shot after the baby is born, so they get immunity through nursing. And all the women I came across online, said they just got the vaccine in the hospital after giving birth, so that's what I did. It was a tough decision to make, but I went with my gut and I always feel relieved when I go with my gut, like I dodged a bullet.

Xavier just got the flu mist at his 3 yr check up, so no mercury. The rest of us haven't had the shot/mist in years. Last spring, he got the flu and I'm pretty sure he got the flu shot that year, so I'm not sold on the flu vaccine. I'm neither here nor there. Xavier just gets it because he's still so little and his birthday is during flu season, so they offer it. But I wouldn't go out of my way to get it.

Adrian just got his first set of shots and I'm not 100% sure, but I think they were all pre-filled syringes. From what I remember when I gave shots, most are single dose. I do wish there was a way to find out about the aluminum content, though. It's something I have never thought about before. I alsoalso wish McDougall wouldn't support the Autism rumor.
