Post subject:  Print Resources for nutrition & health

Since there have been several discussion lately about nutrition & supplements and certain medical conditions, I thought I'd share some links for good reference books on these topics. These are the books that are usually referred to when you go to your local health food store and ask questions. Together, they are a goldmine of useful info.

I like to have them on hand for everyday questions about health, and what I can do at home nutritionally to make traditional medical care more effective (and, once in a while, make it unnecessary : )

Since they've been in print a long time, they can be gotten cheaply, especially in used or older editions

This is a great classic, basic nutritional information, and basic information about a lot of health conditions:

These two (one for adults, and one for kids) offer a little more offbeat guidance, sometimes I think it's good, sometimes I think it's flaky (I'm not a fan of aromatherapy or flower remedies for serious health problems - don't think they're harmful, tho), and sometimes I think it's horrible. Read with caution, but lots of good tips in here, and handy to have on the shelf - just don't follow blindly:
