Went shopping yesterday. I spent a lot of time on the list and got almost everything on it plus some extras. Then I lost the list. On the other side of my list was a list of the foods I had planned to make with the things on the list. No memory. No list. While I will still be able to throw some things together and may even remember a few things I planned to make, I HATE when this happens and it happens regularly!

Very frustrating.

I guess I should make multiple copies. :P

I know - I should put each meal on a 3x5 and keep them in a pocket on my frig. Then I can start a whole box of them and make the shopping lists from there. Hmmmm.

My problem is between home & the checkout. The only solution I can imagine is writing it on my hand, or pinning it to my shirt!

Yep. Sometimes I don't get out of the house with the list. If I do, I may misplace it before I get in the store or even somewhere during the shopping experience. I'm usually not too worried about it after I've shopped but if I've written the menus on the same paper.... which I do often.... sigh. I know I had it just before approaching checkout. I tho't I put it in my pocket but it may've fallen out when I had to pull some $ out of my pocket. I dunno. I didn't put it in a bag with groceries (which I sometimes do) but I don't know if I put it in my pants pocket, my coat pocket, my purse..... ? I went to another store afterwards and may've lost it out of a pocket there. Then dh took me to Arby's for a quick bite... could've lost it there.

I do my menu planning seperately - so thank goodness I don't lose my menu, too!

It is really, really annoying to be like that!

Try this, put it on the computer and after you print it out do a save and you still have it. That is what I do.
