today? Me, learning to stay away from the kitchen is my best bet. Even though I only eat when my stomach growls, the food is still there.
I also stay out of the of the car because this city has way way too many eating places, this town has 22 on two main roads, way too many and there are way too many fat people. yes for a town of 50,000 way too many places to eat, may be more I may have miscounted but yes there are that many on two main roads. Sad Sad Sad. none of them really healthy.
A town that cannot get a bowling alley built but can continue to hinder peoples health.
When I do eat, I try to eat veggies, fruit, grains. I tried going back to meats but my stomach cannot take it. A sweet every now and then, when I crave it, I do not deny myself this.
So my main goal is to constantly and consistently eat only when I have true hunger. To me eating any other time is not right. That is me my belief. My stomach is learning to growl around dinner time to where we eat together.
I keep a 40 day journal starting today. It shows me when I am truly hungry and if I obey that hunger, not eat when I am not suppose to . To see if there is a pattern to this.
I have been doing pretty good. Like I said the main problem is staying out of the kitchen.

I'm trying to incorporate a bit more of the "eat when you're hungry" philosophy but also try to work it around dh. I've been feeling sick today so it's been easier not to eat.
My problem is having healthy food that I like ready to eat. I stupidly made this week's menus mostly long-cooking recipes! By the time I'm hungry and have to eat before the blood sugar thing kicks in, I don't have time to cook those longer meals. I tho't I'd have leftovers from last night's dinner but it didn't make as much as I anticipated.
It's almost 3 and I don't want to eat - therefore I don't want to cook. Hmmm. I better stick to meals with leftovers or shorter cooking times needed!
I'm just about 1/2 # over where I got down to before. I have to lose 2 more # or dh gets the checkbook back!

Sis, there are some healthy microwave dinners out there. Big enough for two people. Have you checked any of those out rather than cooking large quanities for just you two?

Holding steady at my 20 lb weight loss, but not losing any more. I need at least another 20 lbs off, so will have to pay closer attention to when/what I am eating to see if I can kick start things again. I have been eating a little grains in way of pizza crust. Have had it 2 times in past 2 weeks. It may be my culprit. I need to get some coconut flour and see if I can make a crust from that, coconut does not negatively effect my body, where grains do. Hmmm...
Great job on your loss Linda!
