I am down 2.4 lbs this week.
Waiting for that growl is helping a lot. Praise God.
I am learning I can drink a little orange juice inbetween when really hungry if I start to get a headache. :D :D :D :D :D :D

I have been intrigued by your training to eat only when hungry. Back when I was in college I able to do something similar and dropped from somewhere in the 130's to 117. I am 5'4" and was very petite when dh met me. Now I find that if I make some veggie soup like minestroni and eat that for lunch and dinner for several days, I do drop weight. I have to be consistent.

Thanks for sharing your diet triumphs.

The waiting is not that hard, it is not knowing when it is going to happen.
If I have a growl towards bedtime I drink water and ignore it and wait for the growl in the morning. Here lately it has been coming closer to 11 am to 11:30 am , so I eat something I would normally eat for lunch, today it was the rest of the veggie rice soup and 5 onion rings, and 1/4 coffee ice cream.
I may get a growl maybe around 6pm.
I usually cut my weight watchers burger in half save the rest and have a few onion rings. I do not waste food.
I put on my plate what I figure I will eat to make me feel not full, but I have eatten food. If that make sense,
DD had the rest of the ice cream, so that is out of my sight, she needs it to gain weight. I had about a 1/4 of a cup and I do count and measure food, it gives me an idea of how much my stomach can take without over eating.
When I was in high school I weighed 110-118. I am 5'3".

Linda, I have pictured you in my mind somewhere between 5'7" and 5'9". It is so weird how we can create an image that is so real in our minds, but so off to the real world person. I am 5' 2 1/2" I think I skipped 110-118. If I ever did hit that it was perhaps 6th grade. My 13 yo who is in fantastic shape with a beautiful dancer's figure is already 120. I figure if I could get to 135 I would be very thin for me. My first goal is 145 and I will see what I look like and how I feel when I get there.

Back in high school I was between 110-118, I was 118 when I graduated.
I am the heaviest I have ever been.
But I did very well the last few days.
I am cooking dh and dd dinner and not wanting it.
I am hoping I growl around 7pm and then eat a banana.
Lunch was onion rings, rest of soup and that was it.

Isn't it great, when you get to a good place in your own eating, that you do not want what others are having. Twice this weekend I was at places where there were lots of food choices, but only one thing that I could eat that was good for my body, and although I was hungry I was not really tempted to eat the other foods. Today I made a great soup, but it has barley in it so I made something else for me and my sick family members get what they need.
