I think we are all on different schedules as to weighing in. Tori and I were doing a weekly weigh in and I know you were going to do a monthly. I don't remember what everybody else is doing - not going by scale numbers maybe?
At 4lb a week you will catch up with me very quickly!
I did freeze some of my leftovers. I wish dh didn't eat so differently from me. We both love soups, tho', and that's a big plus! Now with the weather getting cooler I am making more soups. Just have to watch it cuz the creamy ones are the best! I'm finding a few that make the broth creamy by processing the veggies/beans and adding them back into the soup. That works well for me.
I start food journals all the time and never keep them up.
I'm having a really hard time doing ANYthing regularly. Except eating.
The reason I "have" to eat at certain times is because dh comes home to eat with me. He doesn't want to eat while I'm sitting there watching him. Also, I tend to get sick before my tummy starts deeply growling. I feel clammy and faint and will just grab anything at that point.
I have had a food plan this week that I've gone by fairly well. I could go back and pretty much write down what I've eaten... except for my cheats.
That's what I need to write down! I know I had a small portion of chicken piccata yesterday with a spinach salad - yum! Then I had eggplant/ricotta rolls around 4 and more chicken and salad later. (Dh was out of town yesterday.) But, what were my cheats? Hmmmm - I know I had a couple of squares of dark chocolate. I haven't been keeping anything in the house that's too easy to get into besides the chocolate and some ice cream that's almost gone. When I make noodles that go with a meal I make only enuf for what I'm eating. I don't make enuf to go with the frozen portion. So, while I had my eggplant rolls on noodles the first time, I had them by themselves the next 2 or 3 times.
I do need to boil some eggs but not these huge ones we got last time! The greek yogurt is on my plan and I put 1/2 a banana and some nuts with it. It's supposed to be a few hundred calories. (I'm supposed to have 4 meals of about the same calorie content.) I think the yogurt might also be for calcium, altho' I'm not sure on that and the cheese would work for that as well. The cheesestick is definitely less calories than the Greek yogurt! About 1/2 I think! But it is about the only way I'll eat any fruit. I wonder why? It's not that I don't like it. It's the greasy salty foods that I love!
Dh and I had a coffee date this morning. We go out to the local espresso cafe and have a coffee and bakery item while we play cribbage. I only had my mocha this morning, so that was a good choice. I just won't need any more dairy today.
I'll make soup for lunch and probably have that leftover for dinner. We have soup after church for fellowship time tomorrow. I think I'll plan my southwestern salad for tomorrow evening. It has steak in it. Hmmm - there's not enuf meat left for dh to have some, too. Maybe that won't work.
Anyways, lots of thinking going on.
I just found out wednesday nite at Bible study that the school has an after school workout session. One of the ladies was going to find out more about it for me. If she doesn't tell me sunday I'll just call the school.
I've been walking a couple of times this week and I'm working up to challenging myself to walk when dh is home. It's stupid that I won't do it. It's one thing to not want to do a workout dvd or aerobics when he's around but just walking on the treadmill shouldn't be an issue! I'm so mental!
