I will try to remember to do this daily, but may wind up being once a week. My memory is horrible
9-21 day one
am up and made hot water for tea for dd before she goes to class this morning.

Since it seems all I have been doing is eating, It may take a day or two to get truly hungry.

I am ready for this journey.
Horrible first day weigh in 197. Have never ever weighed this much. I am disgusted with myself.

I can do this I can do this.

Don't be disgusted with your weight, depersonalize it and just use it as a marking point of where you are today and it will become your comparison for future weight loss and better health.

What was that motto you had? Food will NOT rule my life? Something like that. I think I'll take it up as well.

Still not hungry. Am drinking lemon water and water.
When I do eat I need to remember to sip water between bites. That is what the book says.
DD asked what was for dinner tonight and I told her probably sliced ham and mac and cheese.
If I am hungry then I will eat 1/3 of what is on my plate if my stomach ever growls . and put the rest in a plastic container for tomorrow.

I did really well yesterday.
When my stomach did growl I had some ham, mac and cheese and carrots. Remembered to drink water between each bite of food.
I had the book Weigh down years ago and cannot find it, I re ordered it. I looked at stuff on line.
I am keeping a journal of what I eat and what time of day I get hungry.
Like now at 7am I am not hungry, but my head hurts so I may have a little orange juice to bring my blood sugar up in a while.
Is it good or bad that you do not remember what you had for lunch?
I did not eat anything till now at 5:45pm, 1/3 cup mac and cheese and yogurt and water. No eating after 6pm.

Hoping I am hungry in the morning before church because we will not be home till around noon., I am hoping that my stomach will start growling on schedule, breakfast, lunch and dinner. I pray it does. So far so Good.

Sunday 9-23
DId real well last night. I had 1/4 dry cheerios for a snack and that filled me up.
This morning I will have some orange juice before taking my shower and hoping that my stomach growls before 8:15.
I get more hungry in the afternoon.
The book says not to go more than 5 hrs without eating, Sometimes it takes five hours for my stomach to growl.
What is bad is next month is my birthday and may just get cup cakes, the store has the really small ones. :)

Had spinach and hominy and small salad, for dinner.

I do not get hungry in the mornings usually either. 10 is when I start to notice anything. I try to remember to drink a glass of water when I get up to start hydration for the day, which I forgot this morning, so brb... okay, now I've had that.. ;) Weigh Down was the one and only weight loss plan that I ever had success on. I lost, maintained, and only regained due to 2 back to back pregnancies. The waiting until hungry and only eating enough to satisfy really made sense. Keeping in communion with God is so wise in anything and that was so integrated that my walk was strengthened through WD.

Now, once I figure out what foods are making my body sick/sluggish, I will integrate that knowledge with the things from WD that were so right on with me and have a great way of living. I am so looking forward to feeling well again.

You are doing fantastic.

I had done it when DD was like two years old. Lost a lot of weight after the pregnancy . Then you know you have a child they want snacks, eat out etc.
Well, that did me in.
So now I am hoping that come my birthday in two weeks that I will be hungry after church to go out and eat a child's meal or half of one and the rest for that evening.
Being able to eat my chocolate delight three small pieces a day helps also.
We can do this.
