I'm trying to make good use of my alone time today. My dining area is cleared out, floor is mopped and window sill and baseboards washed (plus some spots on the wall). I'm just waiting for it to dry and i'll apply some "quick shine" stuff to the floor to make it shiny. Then, depending on what else seems more important, i may get to the rest of the floor. Whew! I can already tell i'm ging to need a fan in here!

Anna, didn't you post a link to some kind of homemaking 101 website before? I wonder if i need to find that or if i'll just keep noticing things that need done. I'm not very observant! :?

Well, I remember a blog called that- but apparently I've misplaced it someplace. I don't recall it having more than 1 or 2 posts that I found helpful

OTOH, Mrs. Maryon has a consistently great stream of stuff, including this free homemaking course : ) (she has a separate one for cooking if you look around)

Actually, that is the one i remember! Thanks! :) One of my " problems" is that i like to read about it rather than DO it! But, i'm sitting here waiting for the floor to dry and NOW i'm looking at it. I was a bit iffy on the shine stuff cuz it seems like it's getting old but it's drying nicely and looking smooth so i'm happy!

I wanted to get the tv monitor out of the livingroom today but i'm not sure i'm strong enuf. I didn't realize it's mounted on the wall over the mantel! I may give it a shot once i move the furniture back in place.

I'm loving my cleared out spaces!!! 8-) :D 8-)

Congratulations! Great job : )

Glad you liked the link. Mrs. Maryon is my heroine! Raising 10 kids, cooking a month worth of freezer meals for a family of 11 (one of her kids is grown) and in her "spare time" writing curriculum & giving it away for FREE 'cause she's just a good Christian and thinks that way . . . 8-)
