My dh loves his Swiffer wet jet and I hate buying the jug of refill cleaner, BUT... I saw a way to DIY! All you do is boil some water and stick the cap in the water for about 10 seconds. Then, using a towel on the hot cap, twist it off. Refill with the cleaner of your choice and put the cap back on. I'm going to give this a try. For the pads, chenille socks slipped over it. ?? |

Cool! I hate buying the refills, too, so I'm definitely going to try this. |

So did you get the lid off the bottle? I've tried it before and never could get the lid off. I might have not had my water hot enough though. |
