I can look on allrecipes.com or cooks.com but there are soooooo many of them that I don't know which to choose. Do you have a tried and true recipe? Please share!!! |

Coconut Pie 1 cup sugar 1 Tbsp flour 3 eggs 1 cup milk ½ stick butter, melted 1 tsp vanilla 1 cup coconut 1 deep dish pie crust or 2 regular pie crusts Prebake crust for 5 minutes at 450°. Mix flour and sugar. In a separate bowl mix eggs, milk, butter, and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and coconut. Pour in pie shell. Bake 35-40 minutes at 350° or until browned on top. |

Ooh yuck yuck!! shielding my eyes... coconut... I can't eat it. I've tried but it's just one of those foods that I can't swollow, literally, can't get it down. I have no idea why. My mom and my sister both LOVE coconut and coconut cream pie!!! The poor things... lol! |

Poor Tory lol. I dont care for coconut in things like cookies but I do love this pie and my grandma used to make me a coconut cake that I loved. Nobody else but my mom likes coconut so we eat the whole pie if I make it.  I hope it turns out good for you Shelly! |
