Okay, so I'm probably the only housewife on the planet who doesn't know this answer, but - is it okay to take hamburger patties straight from the freezer & put them in a skillet to cook them, or do they need defrosted?
TIA : )

I've never done it, but when at my sons In Laws I saw that they took the frozen patties and put them right on the grill. Don't know why the skillet would be different.

Thanks, Connie : )
For tonight, I ended up defrosting because I did have time - but I have 4 more in the freezer for another night. Maybe I'll try them frozen next time : )

I never thaw them out. Some cuts of meat do need to be thawed first, but not hamburger patties.

Oh, yeah there is! I've heard LOTS of them!
(the most annoying, IMO - one that was answered JUST before the person asked it - but they were ignoring the speaker )
Thanks for the hamburger advice : ) It's really weird, but before tonight I don't think I'd cooked a hamburger in 20 years. A little refresher was in order.
