My dh's white t-shirts (he wears these under his dress shirts) get horrible underarm stains. He just hates this. Is there any treatment I can use to get rid of these stains? Spray and Wash just doesn't do the job! |

I've heard that dabbing with Ammonia OR soaking in vinegar both work. I've never tried either method, so it's just hearsay. I think the dabbing with Ammonia was my Mom's method. |

We have had some success by getting the area wet, put a good amount of baking soda over the stained area and then lay it out in a plugged sink, a large bowl.. and pour white vinegar over that so the whole area is covered. It will fizzle nicely.  Let it soak a while and then launder. This will help eliminate any body odor that can accumulate on clothing.
