I know I usually post healthy recipes - this one is not!

But with all the talk of Christmas on another thread, thought I'd add a festive recipe. If you like the national-brand candy bar, I think these taste identical, and are a lot cheaper.

Peanut Butter "Cups"
Mix together & press in bottom of square pan:
3/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
3/4 cup to a Scant cup peanut butter (preferably crunchy) - to achieve desired texture
1/2 pound powdered sugar
1/3 cup margarine or butter, melted
Melt and pour over the top:
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips (milk chocolate to be most authentic)

Chill for an hour before serving.

Notes:

If you like the cup shape, you can always make these as molded candies, coating a little cup, adding the filling, and pouring a little more chocolate over the top.

The easiest way to melt chocolate is to pour it into a microwave safe bowl - preferrably glass. Microwave for 30 seconds stir, repeat till melted. (It may not LOOK properly melted till you stir it, so don't skip that step.

I don't remember where I got it from, either. It was a single, photocopied page that I found among my Mother's things - I thought I had lost it years ago. In any case, I modified the recipe from the original substantially, so it is no copyright problem.
