http://www.lehmans.com/store/Home_Goods ... 35#1117735I say, with the price of detergent, even homemade stuff, this sounds intriguing especially since I have this tree growing in my front yard and its full of these 'nuts'. 3 nuts per load. I am going to give it a try.

This looks interesting, but we don't have a problem with detergent prices. I buy All Free and Clear, the biggest size that does 100 loads for about $10 and I get more loads out of it because I don't use a full cap (something I learned from someone else), so it lasts us forever. And it does a great job of getting the clothes clean. Not sure how well this brand would work for heavily soiled clothes, like for farmers, but works great for us.

You have a soap nut tree!!!??? You should sell some!! I have wanted some for awhile now, but will continue to make my own for now!
