son-in-law works at a restaurant where they make this dessert, its named after someone but I think Everything Cake is appropriate. Dd made this for dh as a late b-day cake and it was a hit. Part strawberry shortcake, part pineapple upside down cake and part banana pudding...intrigued? She says the one at the restaurant has a whipped cream topping but she substituted a meringue-type frosting (Betty Crocker's Fluffy White)

Bake a 9 x 13 inch sheet cake with Pineapple Cake mix.
layer a large can of crushed pineapple
layer a can of strawberry pie filling
she bought small containers of banana pudding and added that next
add slices of about 2 large bananas on top of pudding
frost with whipped cream or meringue frosting, chill for a few hours.

This would be good for a large gathering as I would not even want to know how many calories are per piece. Enjoy!

This sounds very similar to my mom's Banana Split cake.
Not exactly the same, but very close!
And yes.. it's SO good! I had forgotten about it but now I'll have to make one again, lol!
