We had a family member sent into combat without ammunition. Orders that they couldn't fire even if fired upon. And they were fired upon - more than once. Sadly, it happens.

I don't know how much I'd believe of this. The doctor who tried to revive him at the hospital said he died of smoke inhalation, and the U.S. reports said he was killed in the first assault on the consulate -- when the attackers were throwing grenades and shooting RPG's. I don't see how he could have been alive for atrocities if he died of smoke inhalation...

I agree, Martha. It's easy for things to get mis-reported when something so traumatic happens.
All human beings are made in God's Image - including those in Libya, Egypt, and Yemen. Sometimes people commit horrible sins, but they still need our prayers.
