I don't really think that the President is a Marxist as such. (although I do think a lion's share of Americans, myself included, have an economic view that includes an acceptance of a blend of multiple economic systems/ideologies) But, Mr. North's argument has a major flaw. Throughout Marxist/Leninist writings, a very slow implementation is endorsed. Even your Reddest Communists would not have measured up to Mr. North's Manifesto-inspired checklist when they first started. They all took an initial tactic of getting the camel's head in the tent. |
