I saw this on the news.

"We kind of knew something bad could happen. We are creating tools that are ripping apart the social fabric of how society works."

They knew about the addiction to social media and banked on it. I can't help but think how demonic that was.

It's nothing really NEW, unfortunately. Humans have always (since the Fall, anyway) wanted - and done anything in their power - to be powerful.

And, most of FB preys upon OTHERS' desire to be powerful - the perfect "victims"

As my Mom used to say "You can't cheat an honest man" (the theory there being that most folks are cheated because of their own greed)

Kent Hovind says people are dumb on purpose. That's so true! We don't WANT to think about what it's doing to people. We just want to enjoy the dopamine that floods us as we "live" vicariously through media - tv as well as fb and other addictions.
