28. No matter what you feel about it, these things are documented to happen during an full eclipse: stars come out, the horizon glows with a 360-degree sunset, temperature drops significantly, and well, day turns into night obviously.

I remember there was one when I was in middle school. I have kind of ignored them ever since. I walked to school with my head down, and walked home with my head down. They had us all so paranoid of being blinded. I think people have gone crazy, driving out into the path, the frenzy over those paper glasses, etc. The glasses could be fake, so buyer beware.

The news is not commenting on the Biblical interpretation of such an event. We believe in a heavenly Creator, the secular media was instituted by those who believe we came to existence through a series of evolutionary steps preceded by some cosmic big bang. It will be interesting to see some go out with a bang, or earthquake rumble at least.

I think it's exciting because i live in the path of "near" totality. The temps should drop and the stars come out. :) I think that will be "cool" - hehehe. I have my glasses ready but i didn't get them for all the kids that will be here. I hope to figure out how to use the mirror method to watch it.
