Just a few weeks ago, the Ontario provincial government passed Bill 89- the “Supporting Children, Youth and Families Act, 2017”- which among other things, will allow for the state to remove gender questioning children from their home if their parents aren’t providing them access to treatment...

...Even the Michael Coteau, Ontario Minister of Children and Youth Services declared:
“I would consider that a form of abuse, when a child identifies one way [LGBT+] and a caregiver is saying no, you need to do this differently,” and “If it’s abuse, and if it’s within the definition, a child can be removed from that environment and placed into protection where the abuse stops.”...
