I also read that he said he is sorry he didn't kill more people and they expect him to spend the rest of his life in prison.

I was just surprised that the MAX for killing ***77*** people was so little. I know a guy that killed somebody and he got like 60 years!

What difference does it make how many years he gets in words when he'll likely be there for the rest of his life anyway? The law in Norway says you have to be repentant (i.e. "rehabilitated), something that rarely happens in our own prisons. Who knows if he'll even live the 21 years?

I guess you have to look at it in different terms than we do here. For me killing 77 people I would expect to see life in prison or a really long time. I guess over there 21 must just be a number, and not be like here in the states, coming up early for parole. 21 years doesn't sound like a long time for killing 77 people BUT understanding the person will most likely spend his life in prison makes it easier to comprehend.
