I don't know why people say he's a bad speaker and Obama's a great speaker. I think they have it backwards. I love all of Trump's speeches. Obama's constant stuttering, hemming, hawing, "uhhhhhh"'s, long pauses, etc. drove me crazy. Has he never taken a speech class in his life? Trump, OTOH, knows exactly what he wants to say, doesn't beat around the bush and just says it. And he says it with passion and meaning, not like a monotone robot that can't think for himself. I feel like he's actually speaking to me/us, instead of trying to tickle the ears of the media and their ilk.
Anyways, I actually wrote down a few of my favorite quotes from his speech. One was, "No one loves the first amendment more than me. I mean, who uses it more than I do?"
Also, "I will never ever apologize for protecting the safety and security of the American people".
One more: "The era of empty talk is over. Now is the time for action".
I also saw an interview with someone from the conference, saying that Trump has been attending for years and giving the same speech about putting America first, etc. So I guess it's no wonder his speeches sound authentic, because he's been saying it for years! I didn't know that.
