I see this morning that Romney has picked Paul Ryan. Can anyone inform me about him? I seem to recall an issue with him unions & almost being recalled. Heard a rumor about him being an Ayn Rand fan. But, overall, drawing a blank. What can anyone tell me, or what links can you recommend. I'm especially concerned about "social issues" (you know, morality) TIA |

He is from Wisconsin and is on the finance committee "Obama's campaign didn't wait long to respond. It criticized the budget blueprints Ryan has authored, particularly his recommendations to fundamentally remake Medicare and cut $5.3 trillion in government spending over the coming decade." Hopefully someone can get the budget under control. "Ryan has worked in Washington for much of his adult life, a contrast to Romney, who frequently emphasizes his experience in business." He knows the people in Congress and knows how they think and how messed up their minds are. He is 42, a nice age for a vice president. |
