This article reports that Harper Collins is being pressured to stop the Berenstain Bears' association with Chick-Fil-A. The author of Berenstain Bears is Christian (years back, Stan Berenstain was a Jew, and Jan a Christian, but now Stan has passed away, and earlier this year, Jan passed away too. The series is now authored by the couple's adult Evangelical son, Mark)

It might be helpful if some who support Chick-Fil-A and Berenstain Bears contact Harper-Collins to provide some encouragement.

It is worth noting that Harper Collins also owns the Zondervan imprint.

Well that's confusing. Harper Collins is the publisher of the Satanic Bible and a very pro-gay book that I won't list the title of here, so ???

Not a fan of Harper Collins at all and they also now own Thomas Nelson.

Wow Lisa, I never knew that! I googled it and sure enough!
I got rid of our Berenstain Bear books though. If I remember right, I found mention of evolution in a few of them.

We LOVE the Berenstain Bears! (not that I don't disagree with a few minor points)

Harper Collins also owns the Chronicles of Narnia.

The way I see it, these are not Christian Companies, but secular companies. They need to be encouraged to do right instead of wrong, and we have an opportunity to witness positively to them and all of their staff & officers when these types of issues arise.

They have some good & some bad books - just as humans have some good & some bad deeds. This is a great opportunity to help them do more good, and maybe be positively spiritually influenced by that.
