It's all over the news about Romney's visit overseas.
Can I ask WHY is he traveling overseas and what is he doing there?
I see he's visiting other countries leaders... ??? Is that right??
If so, WHY?
Shouldn't be over here compaigning?

I don't think I'll ever understand politicians or politics.

Well, I haven't been following this story, but campaigning politicians commonly make international visits. It's a part of campaigning, because it gives them the image of being serious about international events & allies, and good at diplomatic relations. If they hit it off with a foreign official, they can get an endorsement of sorts out of it, too. (A lot of weight was given to the perceived fondness of Germans for Obama during his campaign, for instance). And, if they get the position, they already have been introduced to foreign leaders.

Well.. kind of! lol! I keep these flyers in the mail where he's asking for money. Last I heard he's a millionare and obviously going to the Olympics and then taking a European tour isn't too much of a hardship for him.
