I agree Tory, very well said. And Scott Biddle that would be great if something like that happened with Chick-Fil-A.

My wife just sent me a text message that she and our kids are there for lunch and they had to park in a neighboring business' parking lot and they are waiting just to be able to get in the door. National Chick-Fil-A appreciation day. Woo Hoo!!!

Yup! Great reminder, Scott. I don't usually eat there because they don't serve food that is very vegan-friendly. But, I plan to take my little one and go today - Waffle Fries for an afternoon snack! : )

My dd and I ate lunch at Chick-Fil-A today. We had to park in the Kroger parking lot! This is a very big Chick-Fil-A that we went to, and it was PACKED - inside as well as the covered tables outside, and the kiddie-park area, too! But even though the lines were long (and the Drive-Thru was wrapped all the way around!), we placed our order in less than 3 minutes, and it didn't take long to arrive, either. It was hot, fresh, and everyone was friendly and cheerful.

Amazingly enough, we found a seat. There were people of all ages and sizes, piercings and tattoos, military and civilian. All were served with a smile. They were still pouring in when we left. I hope it's like that all day long!

Three Cheers for Chick-Fil-A!!! :D :D :D

I'm glad they are getting so much support today! We don't have one here, so couldn't eat there today. I hope the support they get today far outweighs the "Kiss in" demonstration the pro gay community has planned for Friday. Blech!

We went. I thought we'd avoid the rush by going mid-afternoon, but no. Still crowded! : )

Great service, very nice food - got the waffle fries & fruit cup.

Asked dd if she wanted a brownie or a chocolate chip cookie. She thought a long time. Then, opted for the brownie. Another long silence. "Mom, what does a brownie look like?" Guess we don't go for fast food very often!

Dh and I went for lunch. This particular ChickFilA is always busy but today it was really packed. There was a line outside of about 20 but it was moving along. Once inside the line veered to the left to the wall, around the tables then back up to the front again towards to the opposite wall then back up to the front registers(think of an infinity horizontal 'S' sort of line). Found a table, got served up quick. Both dh and I were kind of choked up to see the support.

Now if only I saw the sames lines at the voting booth, alas.
