Pros/Cons of this taking place? I personally think that as U.S. citizens already that it a natural progression to want this.

All I can think is that we'll have to re-design the flag. I'm not invested in the Puerto Rico thing one way or the other, but I'm just trying to picture that flag. With the current trend in Centralized government, they'll probably just go for one BIG star : (

They'd just go with three rows of 9 stars alternating with three rows of 8 stars.
