Wow, maybe now he'll be smart enough to stay out of the ocean, lol! Go kayak in a lake or river, for crying out loud!

That's what I thought Lisa! My idea of being out in the ocean would be on something like an aircraft carrier LOL!

My sister lives at Myrtle Beach and she has no fear of sharks. She is a surfer and body boarder. Not me. I'm not sure if believe there are more sightings and attacks now than there use to be. My dad swears there are not, it's just we have more publicity on the instances now. I just know that from personal experience, as a child we went to the beach every single year, we fished from the pier, we swam deep in the ocean on floats-so far out that the houses were barely visible. I never seen a shark.
The past few years we've gone, we see them being caught off of piers and a few years back Sky and I were only thigh deep in water and seen a shark circling us. It was the most fearful moment I believe I've ever had. My girlfriend just went a week ago and posted pictures of 6 sharks in their swimming area. Needless to say they stayed out of the ocean too.
